The OCAC gathers important environmental information to assist the Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals in making informed decisions on development and land use in the town. In addition, the OCAC researches and assists environmental grants and provides educational resources and action plans for environmental conservation and the protection of our natural resources. For more information, please visit the Olive Conservation Advisory Council webpage.
There is one remaining slot for membership on the OCAC, to be appointed at the November 12th Town Board meeting. To volunteer, please submit a letter of interest along with a resume of your background by November 1, 2024 to Town Supervisor, Jim Sofranko.
