Adopt Local Law #1 of 2023 a Local Law Establishing a Temporary Moratorium on Certain Applications
for the Approval of Subdivisions of Land that are Pending or May be Subsequently filed with the Town of
Olive
Motion to extend the health insurance cap on premiums for eligible highway employees on two-person
or family plans through March due to AFSCME contract negotiations
Motion to increase the town mileage re-imbursement from 62.5 to 65.5/mile retroactive to January 1,
2023.
Request from Linda Burkhardt to waive the fee for Davis Park for a community yard sale on October 7,
2023 to benefit the Olive Free Library.

Motion to waive Davis Park fee for Bennett School Picnic June 16 th or June 20 th .
Motion to authorize the Supervisor to sign an Intermunicipal Agreement with the Onteora School
District for the use of the baseball field at Davis Park
Motion to appoint David Maddox to fill the vacancy on the OCAC.
Motion to appoint Brittany Burgher to fill the vacancy on the Recreation Committee
Award RFP for Cold Storage Highway Garage to selected engineering firm.
Approve sending out RFP’s for the installation of insulation in the ceiling of the Town Meeting Hall.
Authorize Supervisor to sign the contract of sale for Old Stockade (Landmark) as per the NYC funded
Flood Buyout Program.
Supervisor Appoints the Housing Smart Task Force: Vikki Read, Liaison

Announcements:
The Building Inspectors will be meeting with residents on Tuesday February 28 th instead of Wednesday
March 1 st for this week only.
Supervisor Sofranko and Deputy Supervisor Drew Boggess will speak at a Town Hall Meeting held at the
Olive Free Library in West Shokan on February 23 at 7pm.
