In case of emergency: If you are unable to contact the Highway Department directly to report a road hazard or dangerous condition, please call 911.
To report fallen trees on or near wires, contact Central Hudson at (845) 452-2700.
Road Opening Permit Application
Road Opening Permit Fee: $50
Please contact the Highway Office well in advance to eliminate delay in processing for associated fees or bonding required.
Driveway Permit Fee: $75
Any permanent entry to a Town Highway will require a Driveway Permit before any work is performed.
Street Report Fee: $20
Requests for Street Reports must be submitted in writing separately from Building Department Requests. Please refer to the Sample Street Report above as a template to send with your fee.
