7 pm at the Town Hall on Bostock Road in Shokan.

Town Supervisor Jim Sofranko called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

On a Boggess/Edinger motion, the Town Board approved Local Law #1 of 2022 amending Chapter 48 Residency Requirements.

Board Member Boggess introduced Local Law #2 of 2022 the Short Term Rental Law. On a Sofranko/Read motion, the Town Board set a Public Hearing date of April 19, 2022 at 7 pm for Local Law # 2 of 2022 Short Term Rental Law.

On a Sofranko/Boggess motion, the Town Board approved the OCAC to spend Grant Funds to promote Community Energy Efficiency Program in the amount of $1500.00.

On a Sofranko/Kelder motion, the Town Board authorized the Town Supervisor to sign the Intermunicipal Agreement with Onteora Central Schools for use of the ballfields.

On a Sofranko/Edinger motion, the Town Board authorized the Town Supervisor to sign a contract with LaBella for the development of a Comprehensive Plan Phase 1.

On a Boggess/Read motion, the Town Board authorized the Highway Superintendent to purchase from H.O. Penn CAT one new Caterpillar Model: 305 Excavator using Highway Reserve Equipment Fund in the amount of $85,500.00. (#18-2022)

On a Sofranko/Edinger motion, the Town Board authorized the Highway Superintendent to put old stock onto Auction International.

Committees, Commission, Department Reports:
Cable Franchise- Supervisor Sofranko, Liaison
The Committee has not met but Spectrum has installed cable on a good part of Peck Road. Ulster County Comptroller has requested the Town of Olive mapping. The Committee will be updating the town mapping and sending it to the County.
Parks & Recreation Committee—Scott Kelder, Liaison
The Committee has met and discussed having a normal Day Camp for the first time since COVID. They are going to start staffing procedures and check on the busing agreement. Softball and Little League are preparing for the start of their season, and the tennis courts which incurred some damage during the ice storm will be repaired as soon as the weather clears.
Highway- Superintendent Burns
There were several road closures last night due to heavy winds. There have been more wind and ice events causing more damage than snow this year. Route 28A was closed as a main corridor for quite a while. The Superintendent thanked the Highway Personnel for doing such a great job this season.

The OCAC did not meet due to the change in date for the Town Board meeting last month. They will be meeting this month.
Zoning Committee-Drew Boggess, Chairman
The Committee finalized the Short Term Rental Law for reintroduction to the Town Board.
Buildings and Grounds Committee- Scott Kelder, Liaison
They did not meet.
The Town Board was given the Statement of Expenditures, Encumbrances & Appropriations and the Statement of Actual & Estimated Revenue dated as of 1/31/2022 from Marlies Rosier, Bookkeeper. (#23-22)
All pertinent business having been conducted, the Town Board on a Sofranko/Boggess motion, adjourned the meeting at 8:30 pm in memory of Laurel Jean Manis and for those suffering in the Ukraine.
