Minutes of the audit meeting of the Town of Olive Town Board, held August 10th 7 pm at Davis Park in West Shokan, NY 12494.
Members Present:
Jim Sofranko, Supervisor
Drew Boggess, Deputy Supervisor
Scott Kelder, Board Member
David Edinger, Board Member
Victoria Read, Board Member

Others Present: Daniel White, CAC; Simon Strauss, CAC & Cable Franchise Committee; Brian Burns, Highway Superintendent; Jeffrey Domanski, Hudson Valley Energy Supervisor Sofranko called the meeting to order at 7 pm.
Presentation: Jeffrey Domanski from Hudson Valley Energy gave a presentation on Community Choice Aggregation (CCA). “Community Choice Aggregation is a policy enabling municipalities to source energy on behalf of its residents, businesses, and other organizations.” CCA is a
policy that allows the Town to contract for electricity supply from other sources, it would still be delivered by Central Hudson and residents, businesses or organizations would have an opportunity to opt-out of the program. This enables the Town to use 100% renewable energy and gives the Town more points as a Climate Smart Community. (#85-20)
The Town Board audited the monthly bills and the payroll.
Supervisor Sofranko went over the agenda for the Tuesday night meeting.
On a Sofranko/Edinger motion, the Town Board adjourned to enter into executive session at 7:58 pm to discuss personnel matters.

On a Sofranko/Boggess motion the Town Board returned from executive session at 8:29 pm.
